Terms and Conditions (Return Policy)

Welcome to Mariaana Events. By accessing or using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Services Overview

Mariaana Events specializes in event planning and decoration services, including:

• Backdrop setups (standard and custom sizes)

• Photography sessions

• Mascot performances

• Custom wall and surface printing

All services are subject to availability and may require a deposit to secure bookings.

2. Booking and Payments

• Deposits: A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to confirm your booking.

• Final Payment: The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days before the event date.

• Payment Methods: We accept e-transfer, credit card, and cash.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

• Client Cancellations:

  • More than 7 days before the event: Refund minus the deposit.

  • Within 7 days of the event: No refund.

• Company Cancellations: In the rare event that Mariaana Events must cancel, a full refund will be issued, including the deposit.

4. Use and Return of Rental Items

• Clients are responsible for the care of all rented items from the time of delivery until return.

• All items must be returned in the same condition as received. Damaged or missing items will be charged at replacement cost.

• Items should be stored in a secure, weather-protected area when not in use.

5. Add-On Services

Additional services are available and can be added to your package:

• Welcome Banner: $50 per set

• Backdrop Extension (6 × 2 ft panel): $90 per horizontal section

• Extra Backdrop Time: $90 per hour (up to 4 hours included with package)

• Extra Mascot Time: $120 per hour (if you book our Mascot package)

• Extra Photography Time: $90 per hour (if you book our photography package)

• Direct Wall or Surface Printing: $12–$16 per square foot (minimum 20 sq ft) via torontowallprint.com

6. Intellectual Property

All content, including images, designs, and text, is the intellectual property of Mariaana Events and may not be used without written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

Mariaana Events is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or products.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
